I want to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the recent class that I offered.
I want to highlight a few things from the class. First, I want to apologize because I accidentally didn’t record the last session (session 6) which also means I didn’t get the chat. I’m sad that the discussion and conversation from that session is lost.
If you only listen to one session, listen to session 4. Click here to watch. Why is this session so important? Our class was privileged to hear from Dr. Peter Ballerstedt. He’s an agronomist by training and has worked at Oregon State. This session is important because he speaks of the importance of animal agriculture as it relates to the climate and as it relates to the ability to feed the world. A lot, of misinformation gets shared about animal agriculture and Dr. Ballerstedt does an excellent job to counteract that misinformation. If you have contemplated being a vegetarian or vegan, you may want to listen to this session for a different perspective. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have further questions about any of the topics we covered throughout the class.
