Westside Indoor Playground

Westside Indoor Playground (WIPG) at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene offers a safe, fun, and community-driven play space for young children. Open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM, WIPG provides a warm and welcoming environment for families, allowing children to play and socialize while caregivers connect and build friendships. Our operating hours align with the Bethel School District calendar, ensuring consistent scheduling for local families.

Westside Indoor Playground is cooperatively operated, which fosters a shared sense of responsibility and community among families. Membership is affordable, with a yearly fee of just $90 or $30 per term, making it accessible to families looking for an engaging and safe space for their children. As a co-op, members contribute through small, manageable shifts that help keep our playground clean and organized. Each term, members are asked to complete two full open or close shifts (each lasting about 30 minutes), four shorter open or close shifts (around 10 minutes each), and two toy cleaning shifts, which take between 30 and 45 minutes. This cooperative model ensures a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all families.

Parents and caregivers enjoy the supportive network WIPG provides, and children benefit from the chance to learn, play, and grow together in a stimulating and safe setting. The playground is equipped with a variety of toys and play areas suitable for young children, making it an ideal place for social and physical development.
