Let’s Take a Trip Together in 2026
Many of you know that the ministry of 1517.org has been really valuable for me, both in resources for ministry, but even more in encouragement to the soul. I’ve referred to 1517 as my lifeline to the Gospel. This is the organization that hosts the Here We Still Stand conference I attend every year in San Diego in October. Their Bible in One Year initiative is a great way to perhaps do something you’ve long thought about doing, but didn’t have the resources or support or community to pull it off. If that describes you, would you consider joining me by registering for the Bible in One Year at the following link?

Description from the website:
When you join Bible in One Year, you’ll receive simple tools and steady encouragement to keep you anchored in God’s Word and its good news every day of the year.
- 2026 Bible in One Year Reading Plan (PDF)—Your complete reading guide for the year.
- Track Your Progress Online— Mark each day’s reading and keep track of ones you missed.
- Daily Bible Reading Emails— Each day’s readings sent directly to your inbox.
- Reading Milestones— Small encouragements as you move through Scripture.
- New Tools for 2026— More features coming to support your reading journey.
Reading the whole Bible in a year is a game-changer for Christians because it lets you see God’s big story of rescue from start to finish, with Jesus right at the heart of it all. This daily habit lets the Holy Spirit work through God’s Word to build your faith, showing you his grace and direction in everyday life—just like Luther said to keep coming back to Scripture for real spiritual strength. Sticking with it creates steady devotional rhythms and helps your church family dig into the Bible together, sharing law and gospel to grow closer and serve better. At the very least, I invite you to click that link and see what’s on offer. If you go for it, let me know!
Peace,
Pastor Tom
