We are so proud of our strong community at Bethesda! Part of what makes us close is our constant effort to plan fun community building events. Below you’ll see upcoming and annual events that anyone is free to join. Check back regularly community events updates.
Annual & Recurring Events
Monthly Men’s Breakfast
On the second Saturday of each month, the men of Bethesda gather at 8:00am in the Parish Hall to have breakfast together. All men are welcome and encouraged to join!
Family Camp
Save the Date: August 20-23
Every year we reserve an ENTIRE LOOP (very private) at Sutton Campground for a weekend of relaxed fun for Bethesda families. You get your own camping spot in the loop (limited hook-ups available) and we join together for one dinner potluck plus Sunday worship. Otherwise, it’s very laid back and a great chance to get away and hang out on the Oregon Coast. Because the whole loop is ours, kids can bike & run around more freely. Sutton is just outside of Florence and there are awesome trails to Sutton Lake, a very secluded and awesome beach, and lots of nature trails.
Annual Garage Sale
Our annual Garage Sale is a great way to do some summer cleaning and organizing! During the start of the summer, we ask our Bethesda community to donate gently used items. During a weekend in August, we hold a Garage Sale, open to the public, to help raise money for the church. It’s a great fundraiser, and is always a fun time to spend together.
