For those of you wanting to gather on a weekly basis, you can choose to study either the book of Luke or the book of John. Please note we will no longer meet on a monthly basis, but on a weekly one with these two studies offered. If you have any questions, pleae talk with Pastor Sarah. This group will meet on Wednesdays from 6-7pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Then, once per month we will have a Women’s Bible Study that begins on Wednesday, Sptember 25th: The 4th Wednesday of each month (Sept 2019 – May 2020) at 10:00-11:30am at the home of Judy Jernberg, 3827 Hawthorne. Upcoming Special Events

Mission Sewing Circle ReOrganizational Meeting – September 18, 12:30 p.m. in Fireside Room
In order to recruit helpers and continue to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and local charitable organizations, we are asking you to help us make new decisions. We will decide how often to meet and determine who will provide specific skills. In order to complete a quilt we need to:
1.Cut squares. (can be done at home)
2.Lay out/design quilt tops. (done at church)
3.Sew quilt tops together. (done either at home or at church)
4.Cut batting and backing for each quilt. (done either at home or at church)
5.Tie quilts together. (done at church)
6.Hem completed quilts. (done at home)
If you are willing to learn and help make quilts, please come. Laurie Rhea is the coordinator of the quilting group and Judy Jernberg is her helper. Please call them if you have questions.
